1 ~ Deep Freeze

The cold winter beckons you to slow down and put a “freeze” on things that are not yet ready to bloom. It’s time for regeneration and hibernation. Forgo ambitious activity. A “pregnant pause” al- lows ideas to gestate; projects to shift and change; and relationships to go through a dreamy state of being, not going any- where—not needing to.

This is also a time to put all your arguments on ice. Nothing beneficial will come from any of them. Self-care is the most important activity now . . . so reflect, read a good book, or get a massage. Rest and dream.

2 ~ Peaks of Joy

Joy is yours today! No matter what your inquiry, you will be happy with the results. You’re coming closer to a sense of achievement, and you’ve worked hard for it. You’re surrounded by true companions, and events that are synchronistically arranged to bring you to the next level of your life.

The world is singing a beautiful harmony. Life is exhilarating and hopeful. Let gratitude fill your heart and remember to share your happiness. Joy is contagious!

3 ~ Commitment

Partnerships formed at this time are harmonious and powerful. The Commitment card also indicates the natural evolution of a relationship from its inception to a literal or metaphorical marriage. At the very least, there is a promise of fulfillment in some form. However, you must be conscious of what you’re committing to. Be clear about the nature of your commitment and your responsibility to it.

Others are more willing to enter into partnerships at this time. Remember that your partnership with Spirit—and the highest version of your own self—will engage the highest self in another.

4 ~ Magic Prayer

When you see the Magic Prayer card, it is a reminder that your prayers will be answered. Spirit is always waiting to help you—and to heal you—when you’re in need. That said, the best prayer is: “Thy will be done through me; thy will and not mine be done.”

Conscious contact with your higher power is achieved through the ritual of prayer and meditation. Speak and listen to the Divine force within the field of creation. Surrender your wishes and desires to Spirit. You may not get what you want, but you will surely get what you need. Your destiny awaits you. As long as you keep in conscious contact with your higher power, be assured that you are on the right path.

5 ~ Solitude

Meditation is required when you receive the Solitude card as a sign. Empty your mind of superfluous thoughts, and allow stillness to flow through your whole being. This is not an advantageous time to ask questions or push forward in any way. Rather, it’s a period for a conscious retreat.

What’s called for now is to step back and take your focus off of your life and your troubles. You’ll be surprised by how things sort themselves out once you’ve replenished your energy by means of a much- needed rest and time-out.

6 ~ Flying

If you were a bird flying high in the air, what would you see? When you soar above life’s challenges and opportunities, a new perspective becomes available.

Today you have invisible wings that allow you to swiftly bring your circumstances into alignment with your highest purpose. This is a sign that your waiting is over, that all your hard work has paid off and the things you hoped for are no longer beyond your scope. You have the ability to reach for the stars and find one with your name on it. Spread your wings and soar. The angels are waiting for you.

7 ~ The Lady of the Gift

The Lady of the Gift brings a message of tithing. To be your Ally, she requires you to look at the nature and method of your giving to others. The world is your church, and you only need to distribute 10 percent of your wealth to others to ensure that the flow continues.

Yet, this doesn’t necessarily mean giving money away, nor does it imply a direct action of charity, even though the tradition of tithing is material. In fact, the kind of tithing the Lady asks of you isn’t tangible or material at all. She’s asking you to look at all human beings as important in the Divine scheme of things and show others that you believe in them

Pay attention to how you treat people; and be mindful of your perception, even of seemingly poor strangers. If you see others as successful and abundant, and act as if you believe they have value, blessings all around are assured. Your belief in others has greater value than you could fathom. This alone guarantees your success long-term. Remember that you can only keep what you’re willing to give.

8 ~ The River Queen

The River Queen flows into your life as an Ally to remind you about the concept of allowing and the Law of Nonattachment. Remember that all rivers come from the mountains and run to the sea to be absorbed by the larger body of water. There the liquid evaporates into clouds that rain on the mountains to continue an endless cycle of fluidity.

The River Queen requires you to be fluid and to let go of rigidity and perfectionism. You will travel far as long as you let go and let flow, even maneuvering around the greatest blockages like water streams around big boulders. No obstacle can hold you back now if you’re willing to surrender to the natural flow of events. Be easy on yourself and others, and watch how smoothly you move forward. You may be surprised where the river takes you.

9 ~ The Cosmos

Creativity in all forms is represented by the Cosmos. This is a sign to place your attention on creative projects . . . they will be successful. Remember that all of life is creative, and you’re always co-creating with the Divine.

The Cosmos also represents the principle of infinity and the vastness of the energetic exchange of consciousness influencing all living things. This teaches us that every intention we set is, in fact, contagious, with the power to influence others. We’re entangled at our deepest energetic place, so we can’t help but have an effect on others from an individual level to a global one.

This is a sign to remind you to open up to the well of creativity deep within you and be mindful of your thoughts and actions: both are influencing your outer world. Most important, keep taking action toward your goals, as the Cosmos responds perfectly to manifest your highest Destiny. Expect to be inspired and to meaningfully touch others with all that you create!

10 ~ The Ringmaster and Scrutiny

The Ringmaster of Scrutiny is all about the details. Look closely and pay attention to the smallest elements of what’s being presented to you on your path. It’s in these details, not the broad strokes, that you’ll find the breathtaking beauty and perfection in what you observe.

This Ally is on your side to point to the deeper meaning of what unfolds in your life, and he reminds you that every moment counts. Staying present in this perfect moment, observing the minute things, leads you to manifest your highest good and greatest desires. Grand gestures are for other times. It’s the smallest acts that really count now.

11 ~ The Diamond Dreamer

When the Diamond Dreamer arrives, he represents the successful manifestation of the unseen into the material. Be sure you truly want what you think you desire, for this Ally will commit to getting it for you. All manner of conditions will flow around you; messages from Spirit will serve to guide you toward achieving your heart’s desire. If you want a house, you’ll be led to it. If your priority is a new job, with the right continual steps, you will achieve this. If you desire a more harmonious relationship, the measures needed to create this will be obvious.

A project finally pays off. Material gain and positive financial shifts may also be on the way. You will, indeed, see the tangible results of your ambition. The Diamond Dreamer also serves to guide you to the appropriate choices so that the unseen is awakened to move mountains on your behalf.

12 ~ Smokey Mirror

The Smoky Mirror represents the aspects of what is implied yet cannot be immediately known in the world, the mystery of how things come together and how they fall apart without obvious causality. This symbol also represents the shadow of the human psyche, the parts of the self that one disowns. The Smoky Mirror can also represent a state of denial, or the inability or refusal to see the truth.

When the symbol of the Smoky Mirror appears, you’re invited to see beyond your own self. Acknowledge that, past the limits of your current ability to perceive, there is a vast interconnected world where events are orchestrated in divine order but challenging to fully grasp. Now is the time to trust that no matter what the current conditions of your world reflect, in the Hidden Realms all aspects of the human journey are celebrated: the beauty and the darkness, the misery and the courage. No matter where you are on your journey, know that some things are meant to be a mystery, which you are meant to understand only through experience. Take heart, for the Smoky Mirror will ultimately show you beauty and wonder once the fog lifts the distortion you see now.

13 ~ Competition

All things have a beginning, a middle, and an end. This is the nature of life—the seed, the flower, and the fruit—and of all human relationships. Completion suggests the fullness of the moment and the need to transform an old form into a new one.

Clinging to the old form will bring only decay. When fruit is left too long on the vine, it rots. You know that it is time to move on, yet you are reluctant. Do not be afraid of hurting anyone’s feelings. Remember that you are responsible for your actions, not the actions of others. Mourn what is lost so you can move on. Do not be sad; be like the sun at midday who shines brightly, neither longing for sunrise or dreading the dusk.

14 ~ Jaguar

The Jaguar is the protector of all life in the Amazon, and in times of fear she brings courage and certainty. Jaguar is at the top of the food chain and never becomes prey. With great stealth, she can track her mark from a distance and not be seen or heard. She moves gracefully through the jungle, relishing the abundance of the rainforest, fearless and at ease. Jaguar knows the ways beyond death and is the master of the shadows, blending invisibly between light and dark, night and day.

Jaguar calls you to explore beyond the walls that confine you, to go outside your normal routine, to push your limits and boundaries. She is delivering an invitation from your own future to investigate the unknown, to venture into the mystery and the dark places you have been reluctant to explore. Toss all caution to the wind! Know that your Jaguar instinct will serve you well.

15 ~ Vision Quest

In the vision quest, you face your fear, embrace your mortality, and then meet face-to-face with Spirit. When we feel stagnant, a vision quest brings our lives into perspective. We realize our flaws, our potential, and the opportunities life is now offering us. We remain on a vision quest until we find the key to open a new door or write a new chapter in our lives.

Find clarity by spending time alone in nature. If you live in a city, go for walks in a park. If you live in the country, make sure that you spend time outside, in contemplation. Get off the couch, get away from your desk, go outside! Spirit helps those who help themselves, so set your intention and ask nature for a guiding vision for your life.
