1 ~ The Ghost Dance in reverse
The Ghost Dance of the American Plains Indians united the spirits of the living with those of the ancestors to bring peace to the world. When the ancestors are honored, they bring harmony to us. When we hold them responsible for all that is wrong with us today, they haunt us. Honor the spirits of the ancestors and receive the lessons and gifts. That includes honoring your own past lives.
If you are trapped in a vicious cycle of nostalgia, mourning a lost youth or opportunities missed, it is time to make an altar for the ancestors. Collect a few photos, light some incense, offer sage, open the windows of your home to release them to their destiny and to the wind. Be wary of being snared into a relationship with someone from a past lifetime, as the people we loved or hurt have a way of reappearing in our lives. There is no learning for you there anymore.
2 ~ Pachamama
Pachamama represents the unconditional love that the Earth has for all children, including stones, the plants, the animal, and humans. She is the Goddess of Earth, also known as Gaia, who pervades all creation in our planet. Thanks to Pachamama, our timeless soul can experience life in a biological body. The joy and pain we taste during our brief time on Earth are invitations to discover the boundless love of Pachamama.
You are a child of Earth. Now is the time to eat right, love right, and be joyous, regardless of the circumstances you may find yourself in. Be grateful for your life, your body, and all the nourishes you. Pachamama invites you to relish each breath, embrace your joy and your pain equally, and discover love through both. Let Pachamama know good much you appreciate all her blessings with an act of service such as planting a tree, helping save endangered species, or protecting the ocean.
3 ~ Flow
There is a natural movement of events in the world. You can see it in phenomena such as the tide, the ebb and flow of oceans and rivers that rise up from the earth then flow to the sea. The symbol of Flow represents the effortless and natural movement toward a certain destination. It signifies an ability to gracefully move around obstacles and reminds you of the sense of allowing.
When Flow comes to visit, it’s a sign that your intentions have been in motion. Now is the time to allow nature to run its course; you are being called to effortless movements and the path of least resistance. It’s like being within music, flowing within partnership. Think of the artist who creates without guile or craft, calling creativity up from the soul and bringing it to life without effort. You are called to be like a river, knowing the fulfillment of destiny is assured. Enjoy the ride.
4 ~ Upper World
Angles, divine helpers, Ancient ones, and all varieties of luminous being populate the upper world. It’s the place where you go to retrieve your destiny, and find out who you will become, discover your great potentials, and undreamt of possibilities. It’s also the place where the spirits of the dead arrive when they complete their journey to the light.
Ask your divine helpers for guidance. You just deal with the lethargy and idleness. While support for a new destiny is not yet in place, a new destination is available to you if you act now.
5 ~ The Child in reverse
The Child knows the way to joy and happiness. The child offers the returns of second innocence, a time born of wisdom and not of naïveté. This card allows you to correct your course and offers you a second chance. It brings you the possibility of redemption and entering heaven while on Earth.
The Child comes to show you how you can correct the course of your life without being punished. Set yourself free from your conditioning for suffering; you were born unfettered and happy, and can be so again if you make the choice right now! The Child will help you climb out of the hole you may have dug yourself into, to recover your sense of play.
6 ~ Beauty Way
The Beauty Way is both a path that you travel on and a daily practice. The path is where you choose to perceive only beauty before you, behind you, and all around you as you journey through life. The practice is where you take action to bring beauty to every situation you are in. When things get ugly, you act to bring integrity and peace to the difficult encounter. When everyone else perceives only darkness, you point out the light and help uncover the hidden treasures.
The Beauty Way invites you to create beauty in your life and to recognize the beauty inside yourself and in others. Stop to smell the roses, take a deep breath, look up at the stars, and recognize the splendor that surrounds you. See the beauty in whatever situation you find yourself in, and you will receive the lesson that life is teaching you in a kind and gentle way.

7 ~ Wizard of Awareness
Mindfulness is about being observant, and remaining neutral about what goes on in the world around you. This applies to the environment within you, too. If you struggle inside yourself, stepping into an observer position gives you a new, powerful perspective that neutralizes any discomfort or overexcitement. You have the capacity to see things clearly now, unencumbered by opinion or desire.
Wearing the world as a loose garment requires you to adopt a sense that nothing that happens to you is personal. People come and go; experiences evolve from one state to another in a continual shift- ing and change no matter how much you want things to stay the same. The Wizard of Awareness asks you to give up your need to define or limit what you’re experiencing now. It’s all good! Let it be, and watch the miracle unfold without any direct influence from you.
8 ~ Rock Bottom
As difficult as it may be to accept, it seems that you’ve reached a point where you can go no further in the same manner in which you’ve been doing things. Per- haps you’ve hit a proverbial brick wall, or experienced a deep sense of loss and don’t know where to turn. The old way of doing things must be discarded fully in order to move onward and upward. A new direction and a new strategy are called for.
The only way out is through surrender. Accept things as they are, and admit that you have no idea what to do next. If you wait in that heartfelt moment of release, then a stairway will appear, like magic, and all manner of synchronicities will show you the way to higher ground. The Rock Bottom card is a sign that a miracle is about to occur, but only if you let go completely.
9 ~ Wishing Well
Desire is the most important impulse for creating life. Now you’re seeing the relationship between desire and inspiration, and sensing that moment of truth when you feel the inception of new life. It is an “Aha!” moment when everything makes sense.
Perhaps you recognize a soul mate, or are conceiving a baby or an idea. The Wishing Well card awakens you to the presence of unseen forces that enable new beginnings. Divine intelligence activates the field of possibilities where new life is co-created in a magical way. Neither you nor anyone else can know how or why this happens. It just does.
To that end, you can’t control the process of growth. Rather, you must step aside to be a channel for higher forces and relinquish any attachment to how this new creation should appear, or when. Form your intention, and take action by dropping the coin into the Wishing Well; then trust in Spirit. Prepare to be amazed.
10 ~ Sacred Pool
When you look into the mirror, do you like what you see? The Sacred Pool card asks that you focus on self-love and self-esteem. We are all works in progress, so a detached self-examination made with rigorous honesty is called for now.
Reflect by the Sacred Pool and be at peace with yourself. Can you see how far you’ve come and how magical your life is? Do you notice the spark of the Divine shining through your eyes? When you’re conscious that you’re the embodiment of Spirit, it becomes easier to respect yourself and act in good conscience . . . then you’ll reap the greatest rewards.
Your unique service to the world is not only needed but celebrated. See the love within you, and know that if you cast it upon the waters, it will return to you tenfold. Be at peace, for you are beautiful and loved. Act with surety and confidence, and success shall be yours— whatever your inquiry.
11 ~ Wide Open in Reverse
Envy, jealousy and possessiveness are the character flaws to be careful of at this time. You or someone else is closed off, unable to remain open to new ideas or intimacy. Heed the gentle warning that too tight a hold on what or who you love, or what you aspire to, will choke the life out of that which you desire. Open your heart and loosen your grip, for what is truly yours can never be withheld from you. If another is shutting you down, let that person be. Do not try to force a door – or a mind – to open

12 ~ The Resting Tree in Reverse
The Resting Tree appearing as a Challenger asks you to consider if you’re so frenetic that all you can think about is how stressed you are. This is a sign to be careful or you may become physically ill, or at the very least, unable to enjoy your life.
Be still. It’s time to meditate and take time out or you’ll make some mistakes that you may regret later. Don’t worry; all those things you’re trying to manage will still be there when you’re ready to move forward again. Only then will you have a clearer head with which to think.
13 ~ The Winged Wise Ones
Always Allies and never Challengers, the Winged Wise Ones represent the aid of all the angels. When you enter their realm, know that your sincere prayers will be answered according to the will of the Divine. This also represents Divine intervention and the potential of miracles to heal and transform as if by magic.
Have faith, whatever your circumstances: Heavenly beings are watching over you. The Winged Wise Ones give you a glimpse of the future by offering messages whispered on the wind. These are translated within you as inspired thought, instantly unraveling the past and revealing the present. Be aware of the Higher Consciousness in you. This is a good time to observe your thoughts through meditation. Who is observing those thoughts? That Self is kin to the Winged Wise Ones, who have come to help you soar.
14 ~ The Dream Walker
When the Dream Walker is your Ally, dreams really can and do come true. Still, there are two kinds: those of the small Self and those of the Divine. Spirit has a dream for you that is yours alone, and all you need to do is ask and it will unfold like magic
You also play an important and unique part in the Divine dreaming of the world. When you ask, Is this the dream for me that serves the greater dream? the most beautiful vision for your life serves the highest good for others, too. Just the act of asking will immediately provide the answer.
The Dream Walker is beside you to help you move effortlessly through the illusions, observing the Truth and celebrating the waking dream of your life that results.
15 ~ The Mapmaker of Destiny
When the Mapmaker of Destiny appears, it’s a sign that you’re being given an opportunity to transform Fate into Destiny. At birth, each human being is given a unique map with myriad paths that intersect with one another.
Your Map of Destiny shows all the places you’re meant to visit, places where you will be challenged to evolve into the highest aspects of the Self.
Remember that you’re a spark of the Divine come to Earth to experience itself in human form. As such, your path is unique. It’s also somewhat preordained, and Fate represents the events in your life that were meant to happen and that you can’t change. Fate is transformed into Destiny according to how you respond to your circumstances. Destiny offers you the ability to make great opportunities out of fated experience, so free will and choice are possible at certain points on your map.
Now is one of those times. You’re faced with a relationship or circumstance brought to you by Fate. How you respond will lead you into your perfect Destiny. Your Ally may assume the form of a soul mate come to heal your heart and be your companion. Perhaps your Challenger makes you face the things within you that must change in order for you to express your highest good. Maybe Fate brings you an Ally in the form of a wonderful new project . . . or a Challenger in the form of a failed business.
No matter which form they take, all are perfect expressions of Fate inviting you into your Destiny. Pay attention as your map unfolds now. And remember that Fate makes the map, but Destiny is determined by the manner in which you engage your journey.
