1 ~ The Child
The Child knows the way to joy and happiness. The child offers the returns of second innocence, a time born of wisdom and not of naïveté. This card allows you to correct your course and offers you a second chance. It brings you the possibility of redemption and entering heaven while on Earth.
The Child comes to show you how you can correct the course of your life without being punished. Set yourself free from your conditioning for suffering; you were born unfettered and happy, and can be so again if you make the choice right now! The Child will help you climb out of the hole you may have dug yourself into, to recover your sense of play.
2 ~ The Lower World
The lower world holds the hidden treasures of humanity. It is a place of rich and fruitful darkness where we can find the disowned parts of ourselves and the abandoned aspects of our psyches. The lower worlds is the place of our ancestors, where we discover the gifts and lessons from the past; it is the realm of the collective unconscious. Here we can meet our demons and transform them into pure energy, our source of personal power.
It is time to unearth your hidden treasures. Do not make yourself small in order for others to like or accept you. Bring out the gems and precious stones that you have kept hidden inside your heart, hidden from ever yourself. It is time to honor your past and recast your life as a heroic quest. As you journey into the lower world, you will be offered all the gifts of your ancestors. Their struggles- the way they hurt, the way they lived, and the way they died- will become blessings.
3 ~ The Medicine Wheel
The Medicine Wheel is a sacred hoop with the four cardinal directions well marked. It represents the cycle of life, the cycles of nature, and the circular pattern of our cosmos. It has been used for millennia in indigenous cultures to bring harmony and wellbeing to the village. It’s directions symbolizes the four steps the shaman takes to become a person of power and wisdom.
To manifest clear blue skies in your life, it is important that you take a look at certain aspects of your being. Enter the medicine wheel from the south and reflect on how you are still clinging to events from the past. Continue to the west and notice which relationships are toxic and drain your energy. Step into the north and ask yourself: “Do I know my passion and show it?” End at the east direction, visualizing how you want to live the next chapter of your life. It is up to you how much time you spend in each direction- minutes, days, or months. But when you are done, make sure to step outside the shell and contemplate your journey.
4 ~ Taming the Wind
Here the feather, a symbol that is used in clearing ceremonies, for smudging, reminds you of a scared commitment you make to you life. This is the symbol of consciously bringing the spiritual into the material, infusing the world with reverence and an acknowledgement of the higher planes of existence that influence and animate all life. The feather is a symbolic reminder of deliberately entering to a partnership with the Great Spirit to co-create for the highest good of all.
It’s time to clear your energy, be present, and become conscious of how you communicate. This is a good time to write in a journal and put your thoughts into a cohesive form. Perhaps you need to actually do a smudging ceremony in your home or office, creating a sacred space to write about your dreams and desires. Just remember that when Taming the Wind appears as a symbol, it is time to honor the Great Spirit with reverence and respect.
5 ~ Upper World
Angles, divine helpers, Ancient ones, and all varieties of luminous being populate the upper world. It’s the place where you go to retrieve your destiny, and find out who you will become, discover your great potentials, and undreamt of possibilities. It’s also the place where the spirits of the dead arrive when they complete their journey to the light.
Ask your divine helpers for guidance. If your answer has come through then for now you must just deal with the lethargy and idleness. While support for a new destiny is not yet in place, a new distinction is available to you if you act now.
6 ~Time Master
Time is a construct of the human mind through which life events are seen to flow in a straight line, from past to future. This, however, is an illusion. Time moves in patterns, fractals, sometimes turning like a wheel and others moving straight like an arrow.
Humans see time like a ticking clock, and this image reminds us that there is only so much of it to spend in a life. At any given moment, you can see time in all its infinite potential; at once vast and all encompassing, then shrunken and finite. It all depends on perspective.
Sometimes it appears that you are running out of time. You worry you won’t get what you need or want. Everything gets stuck like a logjam. This is only in your mind. Time expands and contracts according to your ability to be mindful and observant. Fully engaged in your “now” it’s time to release the story of your past. Equally, it’s time to release your need to know the details of the future. All the treasure magically reveals itself when you remain relaxed and present to what is directly in front of you and nothing else. Then you realize you have all the time in the world. You will never run out of it.

7 ~ The Chess Queen
When The Chess Queen arrives to challenge you, it simply means that you are living too much in your head: planning, scheming, and strategizing what your future will look like and how and when it will unfold. Remember the saying “Man plans and God laughs?” You cannot know the power and beauty that is meant for you until you let go and ask for Divine Guidance. The laws of cause and effect apply here. Do not dictate what you want, as your wants may not be in your highest good. Ask instead for the miracles set aside for you and you alone.
What does Spirit want for you? Perhaps it is time to let go and turn your life over to the care of a Higher Power. You can never lose when Spirit plays the game of life on your behalf.
8 ~ The Lady of Lightning
As an Ally, the Lady of Lightning brings powerful forces of change into your life. She tells you to expect a sudden shift in your circumstances. Perhaps a situation you weren’t anticipating arises and offers you the opportunity of a lifetime, or a series of Aha! moments culminates in a pivotal flash of insight causing everything to change just like that. Maybe someone enters your life and pushes you to new heights. You may have a brilliant idea that hits you like lightning.
Be prepared; change is imminent, and a total paradigm shift may be upon you. Don’t resist the changes, as this kind of lightning isn’t something you want to fight. Great things are happening when the Lady of Lightning appears.
9 ~ The Metal King
The Metal King is strong and arrives to lend you his impenetrable shield of protection. No matter who sends you criticism or jealousy, you will not be hurt. This Ally also prompts you to think about setting healthy boundaries. When you do no matter how uncomfortable that task may be everyone will benefit. He asks you to make sure you know where you end and another begins.
Others’ emotions are not yours, no matter how empathetic you may be.
Another of the Metal King’s messages is to remind you how important it is to have a healthy sense of self-esteem. It’s a good time to shine and be proud of what you have accomplished.
10 ~ The Ice Queen
The Ice Queen has come to block your movement for your highest good. Let your ideas be preserved until later. You can thaw them out and use them at another time when they will best serve.
The realm of the Ice Queen is the place of non-action, and now is a perfect time to take a look at how far you’ve come and to ask yourself for a reclarification of your highest goals.
Not all your plans can be accomplished at this moment. In fact, putting them on ice allows for the perfect timing later on. Don’t be too hasty in trying to reach your goal. An even better one will present itself if you surrender and spend the winter with the Ice Queen.
Perhaps, too, you’re trying to do too many things at once. This is a good occasion to choose only one thing to focus on and let the Ice Queen put the others in the deep freeze until a more appropriate time. She’ll let you know when it’s time to let them thaw.
11 ~ The Spiral Dancer
The Spiral Dancer moves with her own rhythm and steps to music only she can hear. she takes you on a path that is winding and circular. She assures you that what you are experiencing as a setback is really part of an upward spiral. Perception is everything: you are not retracing your steps or going backwards, but rather around and up. She says that you can be comforted, knowing that your path is one of success, adventure, and experience. Follow her, for she dances along a magical way.
If you are asking about a relationship, keep on dancing and magic will soon happen. Also it is OK to allow someone else to take the lead at this time. Make sure to let others know that you are open. Always remember that relationships are mirrors and will show you the past, the present, and the potential future.
All relationships have a destiny. Each is a sacred teacher with valuable lessons to share, even if it appears that the two of you are dancing in different directions. All the steps are perfect, even when you may seem to be stumbling. The Spiral Dancer is a reminder that destiny’s true path is seldom straight.

You’re going through a dark night of the soul. Surrender and release. Persist- the rewards will be life changing. You are metamorphosing. Rest and rejuvenate. The ancestors are connecting with you. Embrace your shadows.
13 ~ Witch ~Healing~
You are a natural healer. You have a natural affinity with plants and herbs. Study to qualify as herbal practitioner. Use complimentary medicine and aromatherapy to heal. You benefit from the healing energies of nature. Honor its rhythms and cycles.
14 ~ Cauldron ~ Containment ~
There is important information missing. Someone is hiding something from you. Don’t make your move until you have all the details. Harness and nurture your natural gifts. The world is not ready for what you have to offer. Wait until the time is right.
15 ~ Homeland ~Foundation ~
Visit your childhood home. Honor any feelings that you have about your past. Face up to and accept where you come from. Your last is catching up to you. A foreign land stores something within you. Investigate your family tree. Look toward home for answers.
