1 ~ Completion
All things have a beginning, a middle, and an end. This is the nature of life- the seed, the flower, and the fruit- and all of human relationships. Completion suggests the fullness of the moment and the need to transform an old form into a new one.
It’s ok to choose your happiness. For far too long you have out your happiness beneath and others above. No more. Your feelings matter. Your happiness matters. A cycle is coming to a completion in your life. Let go of what needs to be released and allow happiness to fill up your life.
2 ~ Many Paths
All paths lead to Spirit. What you bring to your journey is what will determine if yours is a path of suffering, a path of wisdom, a path of bliss, or a path of loss.
You have outgrown your current situation and risk losing your way in your own backyard. You are being called to step out of your comfort zone. Respond now, while the call is still a gentle whisper. Even though the woods look thick and impenetrable, venture in and let nature guide your steps through the dark until you reach your destination. Remember, if you do not know where you are going, any path will take you there.
3 ~ Fire
Fire consumes anything that it touches. The flames remind us of the impermanent nature of reality, and how situations can quickly transform into beauty or chaos. Fire is passion, and its dancing flames invite us to reach to the sky. Warmth and light are heavenly, yet too much heat can scorch us. To fully step into the energy of fire is to be utterly transformed, like the Phoenix rising from the ashes.
Are you feeling too fiery? Have you been reactive and short-tempered toward others? This card has come to tell you that all fiery emotions directed at others can “backfire” at you. It is not a good idea to play with fire when you are out of balance or angry. Now is not the time to act or react. It is time to tame and befriend your inner fire so it does not scorch you.
4 ~ The Mystical Shaman
This is a symbol of the mythmaker and storyteller who is neither made of or defined by the story. Instead observes it, evolves through it, perceived all aspects of it. I’m doing so, the mystical shaman represents the ability to dream a new story, a new myth, into being. He dances between worlds, wearing the cloak of the world loosely around his shoulders, and sings the world into being. He reminds us to be in the world and travel through it, but not to be defined by it or become too attached to the experience. This is the symbol of true alchemy, for all elements of life have a spiritual aspect and a material one. When we remember this, all manner of miracles and manifestations are possible.
When the Mystical Shaman appears, you’re being invited to consider the ability to live without attachment. You are called to create and dream your life, to act on inspiration and divine impulse without fixating on a know story of success or achievement. Can you impartially observe the stories you tell yourself and others? What if you could become a mystery to yourself? Who would you become if you stopped telling the tales that have defined you up until now? You do not have to live in a story that has roots in the past. What if there were no need to explain you to anyone, not even yourself? The way to your most extraordinary life is to become and blank slate and allow the form of your dreams and desires to show up, as it will. This is a sign of manifesting a life beyond your wildest dreams.
5 ~ The Andean Cross
The Andean cross represents the cosmology of the shaman. It depicts the four cardinal directions, the upper and lower worlds, and the steps to reach these realms. The hole in the center is a gateway to inter dimensional travel, the proverbial eye of the needle we can all go through to experience higher states of awareness and wisdom and to break free of linear time.
The time has passed and the window of opportunity has closed. Now is not the moment to take that leap that you have been over-preparing for. It is best to wait until conditions in the heaven line up again to offer you a more propitious moment. Any bold action you take now will require tremendous effort on your part. Just as important as knowing when to act is knowing when to return to your inner stillness and wait for more favorable times.
6 ~ The Sun
The Sun is acknowledged by many cultures as the foremost masculine force. In other traditions, it is seen as the feminine in her full power. Either way, it is the most brilliant light for all beings and allows life to sprout from the dark, feminine Earth. It can be gentle and warming close to sunrise and sunset, fall or winter- or it can be destructive, as in its zenith during a scorching summer.
Have you been hibernating? Have you been introspective? It is time to come out of your cave and savor the life-giving light of our star. The sun rekindles your passion and your creative energy. Life is calling you to shine your light and to add your lightness and humor to the seriousness around you. Get out and play!
7 ~ Culmination Of Vision
Time to take positive action toward your goals and dreams. Be adaptable and fine-tune any of the details of what you are creating. Reflect on your desires and make sure your attitudes and beliefs are in alignment with what you wish to accomplish. Let go of any aspect or quality that no longer fits what you intend to accomplish.
8 ~ Gratitude & Appreciation
Recognize the good qualities in others and openly share your gratitude with them. Write notes of thanks to those who have helped you. If someone deserves acknowledgment, take the time to let a superior or colleague know so that they receive the recognition they deserve. Nature is continuingly sharing its beauty for us to appreciate. Beholding a rainbow is a gift, and when we encounter a rainbow’s beauty, it is the perfect time to be grateful for all the gifts in our lives. It is important to generate the positive flow of thankfulness that can bring joy into someone else’s life. By doing so you will not only decrease your stress you’ll also generate the feeling of goodwill and love in your life.
9 ~ Infinite Blessings
Open your heart and your reality to the immeasurable gifts from nature. Loving energy is surrounding you. Love from the highest level is being showered onto you and your life. Count your blessings and remember that love is all around you. Notice these miracles and blessings as they show up in unexpected ways but always at the most auspicious time. Your life may not be exactly as you anticipated, but be sure to look for your miracles.
10 ~ Amplify Your Positive Emotions
There is a ripple effect of energy flowing from you. Be positive. Simply staying happy and sending that happiness out from your heart will benefit those around you. As you adjust your motives and attitudes, this energy flows from you in concentric circles affecting all of your desires and beliefs. There is a chance to bring good fortune and influences to all of the events in your life. As circles also represents cycles, know that you are continually going in and out of cycles growing and changing. With every ending comes a new beginning. Trust that the positive energy you radiate will attract what you wish for.
11 ~ Ideal Course Of Action
It is easy to be overwhelmed in the planning of a new endeavor. Simplify your plans. Clearly envision what you would like to accomplish and find ways to ensure you can stay on the path. Eliminate self-sabotage or the behavior that might derail you. Determine what you desire next. Do this through daydreaming and visualizing what delights and inspires you. Trust that this is an important phase that is necessary to maintain alignment and clarity.
12 ~ Autumnal Equinox ~Release~
Now is the time to let anything in your life fall always that is no longer useful or needed for the emerging expression of who you are. Allow yourself to gradually shed what has become burdensome and no longer congruent with your soul’s purpose. Conserve your energy by allowing yourself more rest while at the same time making preparations for the winter season. Look especially at your material possessions and be brutally honest with yourself as you discern which of these can be given away or somehow released. Consider shedding relationships that have served their purpose and are no longer viable, as well as work or a job that has become devoid of interest and passion. With release comes a sense of being much lighter.l, just like the trees that openly bear their nakedness once their leaves have departed and give room for whatever new Life is ready to birth following a period of quiet and gestation. So let go of whatever has outlived its purposefulness and trust that something else will take its place.
13 ~ Fairies ~Earth Magic~
You have the same power available to you as the fairies do. It starts with loving the Earth through tough heartfelt gratitude and appreciation, but more important, through your actions. The fairies can help you reconnect in a more intimate way with the Earth, and all they require is your willingness to pay attention to the trees and plant life around you and demonstrate your care. Whether you live in a small space or have an expanse of land, make it a point to be especially attentive to your surrounding vegetation. Plant something. Get your hands in the dirt and do so with love and enthusiasm. Every flower, tree, or shrub you are attending is a living being, so treat each like you would a dear friend. Ask the fairies to help you take care of these friends, and you will be rewarded many times over.
14 ~ Ancestors ~ Generations ~
You have within you the blood of your ancestors. You are deeply connected to your linage, the most immediate proof of that being the physical resemblance you have to your mother and father and perhaps even grandparents. Yet beyond that, although unknown to your usual senses , you are connected to an ancestry that reaches back through the millennia. This is the time to call upon those ancestors, those who are of your bloodline as well those ancient ones that have walked the land that you now walk. In many indigenous cultures, it is believed that the essence of your ancestors inhabits many of the physical aspects of the land. In other words, they are in the trees, the water, the air, the animals, the stones— their blood being in the very dirt and sand you tread upon, next time you are outside, allow your senses to open to those ancestors who abide in the physical world. And anytime at all, allow your heart to open to those Spirits to whom you are related though your heredity and to those shine you are connected by virtue of the land upon which you live.
15 ~ Volcano ~Volatility ~
This is a particularly volatile time for you. Unexpected changes, sometimes quite sudden and frantic are occurring in ways that you have absolutely no control over. These occurrences may be so powerful as to shake up what you formerly thought of as the foundations of your security. They may even cause you to reassess the direction your life is taking, to question some of your relationships, or to reevaluae the work you have chosen. Although these events may rock your world, know that Spirit is the guiding force behind them. It is a matter of finding your trust that Life knows what it is doing in the midst of these storms of change. It also requires you to make adjustments quickly and to not cling to what was, but instead move forward and welcome with your arms wide open what is yet to come, all from a place of being present in this moment. You truly have nothing to fear.
